  i wasn't entirely serious on older posts that our whole universe could technically be a computer simulation and this next thing isn't claiming that but it seems to nudge it closer to that possibility.

  am3rd life story is in may 15th 2015 study wt.. after reading, he sounds very mental unstable.

  i know you guys will be saying "yeah, obviously he is"...but we don't have any concrete evidence saying he has a mental condition.. has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army?

  i mean, he probably doesn't know that many people, he was only serving for a year for christs sake.

  Has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army? I mean, he probably doesn't know that many people, he was only serving for a year for Christs sake. But, it could shed some light on his personal life, his sexual orientation for instance.

  The part where he says in the article that his sons are in the truth, and they make me and my wife look good? Seriously?? WTF? That's a f**ked up quote right there.

  Also, from baptism (1971) to GB appointment (2005) it took him 34 years to rise to the top. That is an alarmingly short period of time for a convert who was 21 at his baptism.

  He must have licked some serious ass to rise that quick.

  I want that mans name and reputation dragged through the mud. Harsh? yes. Justified? Defiantly.

  i am sure that the many recent lawsuits are being noticed by the r&f.. here are some gems from that article, titled the naive person believes every word.

  Sir 82, But those aren't the guys reading the "malevolent slander" - the ones doing so are between the ages of, say, 15 - 55. Hardly "new to the internet".

  I can't figure out why they put that phrase in there

  Perhaps for 3rd world countries who are still just becoming connected to the internet.

  This religion will become increasingly popular in 3rd world countries, and i'd imagine a lot of the articles will be directed towards them.

  The western world is a lost cause.

  just a small anecdote from the meeting last night.. in the item interviewing a couple of older, long standing ones, one of the sisters was asked how jehovah had answered her prayers.

  her response was "in lots of ways but it's the little ways i think of the most.

  for example, when i am rushing to get ready for the meeting and putting my earrings in and i drop the butterfly clip on the floor and cannot find it.

  The GB is still talking about email like it is a new thing.

  I think they don't realize yet how strong a presence social media is even in the lives of average JWs. You don't need someone to send you news, it gets delivered straight to your feed.

  Email is yesterdays news.

  The Bible is NOT Error-Free

  for many christians, the bible is viewed as the 100% error-free, perfect book straight from god, where every single word was carefully chosen by god for a reason.

  but, usually, when you have a discussion on the topic, these christians will end up saying that only the original copies written directly from the hands of the prophets and apostles were error-free, and all manuscript copies since then are subject to copyist mistakes and other errors.. since zero original copies are in existence, how do we know the originals were error-free?

  why should we think the originals should be error-free to begin with?

  In my opinion the bible is just a bunch of books written by a bunch of people to try and explain the unseen or/divine. And they use real events and people to inspire their thoughts and musings.

  i really enjoy hearing about other people's lives.

  feeling a little lonely this evening so please tell me if you have plans for the summer months.

  i may go to some outdoor theatre with my daughter who's home from uni; with a picnic and a bottle of wine.
